Hi there, I’m Willy! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and I’m probably a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. I’m a sensitive, energetic little dog who’s very attached to people. When I’m stressed or overwhelmed by my surroundings, I need time and gentle reassurance to calm down, but I love cuddles once I feel comfortable.

I’m looking for a family that already has some experience with anxious dogs or those who might sometimes want to keep their resources to themselves. A home without children would be best for me, since I need a calm and predictable environment to feel safe.

I’ll need to be the only pet in the house. Even though I can meet other dogs without any issues in certain situations, I’ll be happier without having to share my space on a daily basis. Cats are not recommended for me.

Long absences cause me stress, so I would really like to live with people who are around a lot. An apartment or condo wouldn’t work for me, as I can be vocal when I’m anxious. A quiet environment, without too much coming and going, will help me gain confidence.

I love playing with a ball 🎾, getting attention, and enjoying activities that stimulate my brain 🦴. Chewing sessions and playing indoors or in the yard are also great ways to help me relax.

My little challenge is that I can get restless when I’m stressed or excited. I sometimes jump up to ask for attention, and I still need to learn how to better manage my emotions. With a stable routine, patience, and good guidance, I’ll be able to make great progress.
