Together for animal welfare

Our patrol team is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of local animals.

Your help makes all the difference in identifying and solving problems related to their safety and health!

In 2023 :

  • Our Inspection and Patrol Bureau handled over 1,317 calls.
  • We opened 393 inspection files.
  • Our MAPAQ-mandated inspectors visited 1,041 animals.

Our patrol plays an essential role in ensuring animal welfare beyond the walls of the SPCA de l’Outaouais. Charged with enforcing municipal and provincial regulations, they intervene directly, provide support to the community and take preventive action.

Through these initiatives, we play a key role in raising awareness and educating the public, with the aim of strengthening the safety and harmony of our community while ensuring the protection of animals.
