Please raise the flag if you see an animal in an unacceptable situation.

These reports must go through the ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) before they can be processed by our patrol members mandated by MAPAQ.

You have several options:

1. Fill out the online form on the MAPAQ website.
2. Call 1-844-ANIMAUX (1-844-264‑6289)
3. Write to centraledesignalement@mapaq.gouv.qc.ca

For a complaint or report to be admissible, you must have witnessed the situation for yourself, and you must indicate precisely where the incident took place. Give as many details as possible.

First, we encourage you to talk respectfully with the owner to see if a solution can be found.

If that doesn’t work, here are some examples of nuisances for which our patrol can intervene:

• Excessive barking or meowing
• Free-roaming dog on unfenced land
• Excrement not collected on your property or on the street

Make sure you have the owner’s full address and the times when the nuisance occurs. This information will enable us to intervene in the case.

We will also need your name, address and telephone number. This personal information will remain confidential.

Unfortunately, the shelter is not equipped to care for wildlife.
