Hi there, I’m Meringue! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and my breed mix is unknown.

I’m a young female dog who’s curious, sociable, and full of energy—I’ll need a family willing to invest in my training. Like any puppy, I’m still learning and need clear, consistent, and loving guidance.

A family with preferably some experience with puppies would be ideal for me. Around young children, I might jump, nip, and bump into them, so older children would be preferable. Close supervision and safety gates will be important to help everyone live together harmoniously.

I can live with another dog, ideally one of the opposite sex. Introductions should be gradual, with breaks and time apart as needed. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals yet, so a very gradual introduction will be necessary.

I’m looking for a present and available family, especially during my first few weeks. Long absences could cause me stress, so I’ll need to learn gradually how to be alone. A fenced-in yard would be a great asset for me.

I love to move around, explore, and share activities with my family! 🐶🌲 Walks, hikes, plays, mental stimulation activities, and chew sessions will be great ways to meet my needs. Regular training sessions and, if needed, guidance from a professional will help me a lot.

My little challenges? Potty training, walking calmly on a leash, controlling my jumping and vocalizations, and learning to manage my emotions. I’ll also need a little work to make daily care part of my routine.
