Hi there, I’m Brioche! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and I’m a female dog of mixed breed.

I’m a little dog who’s curious, sociable, and full of energy! Since I’m still a puppy, I’m at an important stage in my life where I need a family ready to guide me as I learn and help me become a great companion.

A family with preferably some experience with puppies would be ideal for me. With young children, my tendency to jump, nip, and bump into things might be hard to manage; older children would therefore be preferable. Regardless of their age, close supervision and safety gates will be essential on a daily basis.

I can live with another dog, ideally of the opposite sex. Introductions should be done gradually, with breaks and time apart as needed. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals yet: a very gradual introduction will be necessary.

I’m looking for a family that’s often home, especially at first, since changes and long absences could cause me stress. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus, as would access to wide-open spaces for walks.

I’ll need an active family that wants to share their daily life with me. Walks, hikes, playtime, mental stimulation activities, and plenty of chew toys will be part of my daily routine 🐕🌲🦴. I’ll also benefit greatly from positive and regular training sessions, ideally with the help of a professional.

My little challenges? Potty training, walking calmly on a leash, not jumping up, limiting barking, and learning to manage my emotions when I’m alone. I might also have my moments of puppy madness! 😉
