Hi there, I’m Croissant! 🐶
I was surrendered to the shelter, and my breed mix is unknown.
I’m a young dog who’s curious, affectionate, and full of energy—and I still have a lot to learn! I’m looking for a family willing to guide me with patience and consistency to help me develop good habits.
A family with preferably some experience with puppies would be ideal for me. Around young children, my puppy energy might lead me to jump, nip, and bump into them; so older children would be preferable. Close supervision and safety gates will be important to ensure a harmonious living environment.
I can live with another dog, ideally of the opposite sex. Introductions should be done gradually, with breaks and time apart as needed. Since I might become more selective around certain dogs as I get older, my family will need to be ready to support me through these learning experiences. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals yet, so a very gradual introduction will be necessary.
I’m looking for a present and available family, especially at first. Long absences could cause me stress, so I’ll need to learn gradually how to be alone. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus.
I love to move around, explore, and spend time with my humans! 🌲🎾🦴 Walks, hikes, playing, mental stimulation, and chewing toys will be great activities to share. Positive training will also be part of my daily routine.
My little challenges? Potty training, walking on a leash, jumping, barking, and learning to be alone. I might also have my little moments of puppy madness!
