Hi there, I’m Brownie! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and my breed mix is unknown.

I’m a young dog who’s curious, sociable, and playful—and I still have so much to discover! I’m looking for a family willing to provide me with a safe and loving home and to spend time each day training me.

A family with preferably some experience with puppies would be ideal for me. Around young children, my enthusiasm can lead to jumping, nipping, and shoving; so older children would be preferable. Close supervision and safety gates will help make daily life easier for everyone.

I can live with another dog, preferably one of the opposite sex. Introductions should be gradual, with breaks and time apart as needed. I may become more selective with certain dogs as I grow older. I haven’t yet been tested with cats or other animals: a very gradual introduction will be necessary.

I’ll need a present and available family, especially during my first few weeks. Long absences could cause me stress, so I’ll need to learn to be alone gradually. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus.

I love discovering new things and sharing activities with my humans! 🌲🎾🦴 Walks, playtime, hikes, mental stimulation, and chew toys are great ways to keep me occupied. Regular training sessions will help me learn to channel my energy properly.

My little challenges? Potty training, walking on a leash, jumping, vocalizing, and learning to be alone. Like any puppy, I’ll also need time to learn how to manage my excitement.
