Hi there, I’m Buffy! 🐾
I was surrendered to the shelter, and my breed mix is unknown.
I’m a young female dog who’s curious, sociable, and full of life! Since I’m still a puppy, I have so much to learn, and I’m looking for a family willing to patiently guide me through this wonderful adventure.
A family with preferably some experience with puppies would be ideal for me. Around young children, my enthusiasm might lead me to jump, nip, and bump into them. Older children would therefore be preferable, with close supervision and safety gates as needed.
I can live with another dog, ideally of the opposite sex. Introductions will need to be done gradually, with breaks and time apart as needed, since I might become more selective around certain dogs as I grow up. My compatibility with cats and other animals hasn’t been tested yet; a very gradual introduction will be necessary.
I’m looking for a family that’s present and available, especially during my first few weeks. Long absences could cause me stress, and I’ll need to learn gradually how to be left alone. A fenced-in yard would be good!
I’m eager to explore the world with my humans! 🌿🎾 Walks, hikes, plays, mental stimulation activities, and plenty of chewing sessions will be perfect for helping me thrive. I’ll also need to learn house training and participate in training sessions appropriate for my age.
My little challenges? Learning to walk calmly on a leash, limiting jumping and barking, and better managing my excitement. I might also have my little moments of puppy madness! 😉
With patience, consistency, and plenty of guidance, I have all the potential to become a wonderful companion. If you’re ready to invest time in my training and guide me to become a well-adjusted dog, I can’t wait to meet you! 🏡
