Hi there, I’m Tash! 🐾

My family surrendered me to the shelter because they were going through a difficult time and could no longer take care of me. I’m a beautiful, large Cane Corso mix.

I’m a gentle, calm, and sensitive companion who takes time to observe before trusting someone. With people I know, I really enjoy close moments and cuddles. However, I need people to respect my pace when I meet new people.

I’m looking for a family with experience with dogs that are shy around strangers or have a protective instinct. Adults or teenagers would be preferable, since my large size and my reserve around new people require a calm and respectful approach.

I can live with another calm dog—ideally of the opposite sex—as long as we’re introduced gently beforehand. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals.

I’d love to find a home where I can have a stable routine, with a family that’s there for me and a fenced yard so I can enjoy my surroundings. A quiet environment would be ideal for me, since loud noises and overly stimulating situations can make me nervous.

I love peaceful walks, playing in the yard, and activities that let me reflect and feel comfortable in my own skin 🌿🦴. I already know a few basic commands and will continue to learn with a patient family.

My little challenge will be getting used to new people at my own pace. With gentleness, consistency, and lots of respect, I can become a wonderful companion for the right family. ❤️ I’m simply looking for a home that will see the beautiful, sensitive dog hiding behind my shyness. 🏡
