Hi there, I’m Tash! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and I’m probably a Boxer mix.

I’m a very sensitive dog who needs time to feel safe. At first, I might seem distant and nervous, but once I feel comfortable, I’ll come looking for cuddles and comfort from the people I trust. 💛

I’m looking for a family with experience with fearful dogs, one that’s willing to respect my pace and guide me gently. A home with only adults is highly recommended, since I need a calm, predictable environment and plenty of space to adjust at my own pace.

I could live with a cat, since I’ve already shared my daily life with one. If there’s another dog, a preliminary meeting will be essential. I could get along well with a calm companion—ideally a male—provided that introductions are done gradually.

A home with a large fenced yard or access to open spaces would be ideal for me. Long periods of absence might make it harder for me to adjust, and a quiet environment with few visitors and little noise will help me gain confidence.

I love long walks, hikes, and activities that stimulate both my mind and body. 🌿 Chew toys also help me relax and manage my stress. 🦴

My little challenge will be learning to feel more comfortable in new environments and around strangers. I also pull on the leash when I’m anxious, but with a consistent routine, patience, and professional guidance when needed, I’ll be able to make great progress.
