Hi there, I’m Sacha! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and I’m thought to be a lovely Cocker Spaniel-Poodle mix. I’m a sociable dog who loves human interaction, but I can also be sensitive to change and need a reassuring, stable environment.

I will be good for a family adopting their first dog! However, I’m looking for a home with adults only, since I’ve never been around children. My future family will need to be gentle, patient, and, above all, there for me as I adjust to my new life.

I prefer to be the only dog in the house. Other dogs can make me feel uncomfortable, especially larger ones. I haven’t been tested for compatibility with cats or other animals.

A quiet environment with minimal comings and goings and a fenced yard would be ideal for me. Long periods of time alone can be difficult for me, so I’ll need a family that’s very present and willing to gradually help me feel more comfortable when I have to be alone. Professional guidance could be a valuable asset.

I love to move around and explore! 🌲🐕 Nice walks, hikes, play toys, chew toys, and activities in the yard or indoors will help me thrive and channel my energy.

My little challenge will be learning to better manage my excitement and stress. I may pull on the leash, jump, or vocalize when my emotions get the better of me, but with a stable routine and tailored training, I’ll be able to make progress.
