Hi there, I’m Prima! 🐾
I was found as a stray, and I’m probably a Malinois mix. I’m a young, energetic, and smart dog who’s always ready to go! I also need a little time to feel comfortable in new situations.
I’m looking for a family with experience handling very energetic dogs who are willing to seriously invest in my training. Since I still jump and nip a lot when I’m excited, I’m looking for a home with adults only, so my humans can focus on my training and routine.
I haven’t been tested for compatibility with other dogs yet, so gradual introductions will be necessary. However, I won’t be able to live with cats, as I might tend to chase them.
I need a home with a fenced yard and plenty of space to move around! Living in an apartment or condo wouldn’t be ideal for me. An active, hands-on family ready to support me as I adjust would be perfect.
I love being stimulated both physically and mentally! 🌲🏃 Long walks, hikes, dog sports, puzzle toys, and chew toys will bring me happiness. I’m also very motivated by food and toys, which will be a great asset for my training!
My little challenge? Learning to channel all this wonderful energy! I jump, nip, and can have trouble calming down when I’m very excited. Dog training classes are highly recommended to help me become the best version of myself.
