Hi there, I’m Roméo! 🐾

I’m a gorgeous mastiff-type mix. I’m a big, affectionate boy who loves spending time with people once I feel comfortable around them.

I’m a playful, food-oriented dog who’s always ready to spend time with people who take the time to get to know me. I love cuddling up for some pets, and I never say no to a ball or a treat to chase! 🎾

I’m looking for a family with some experience with large dogs, since I still have a few good habits to learn. A home without children under 12 is recommended, simply because my enthusiasm still makes me jump around, and I might accidentally bump into them!

I haven’t been tested with other dogs yet, but a preliminary meeting will be important if you already have a canine companion. I also haven’t been tested with cats.

A home with a large fenced yard or easy access to open spaces would be ideal for me so I can burn off energy in a safe environment. I’d also appreciate a family that’s present during my adjustment period, as changes and new environments can take me a little while to get used to.

I love walks, ball plays, brain-stimulating activities, and chew toys. 🦴🌿 These shared moments will help me channel my energy and build a strong bond with my future family.

My little challenge? I still pull a bit on the leash, I jump when I’m very happy, and I can be reserved around some strangers. With a stable routine, positive training, and lots of consistency, I’ll continue to make great progress.
