Hi there, I’m Ravioli! 🐾
I was found as a stray, and I’m a Shepherd mix.
I’m a big, energetic boy who’s curious and sensitive to my surroundings. I love treats—they’re a great way to get my attention and encourage me as I learn!
I’m looking for a family with experience with large, energetic dogs who’s willing to continue my training with patience and consistency. I’m not a good fit for children 12 and under, since I tend to jump on people and pull hard on the leash, especially when I’m excited.
I’m interested in other dogs and could live with a compatible companion. A preliminary meeting will be necessary, and a dog of the opposite sex is preferred. I haven’t been tested with cats yet.
I’d need a home with a large, fenced-in yard, ideally in the countryside or near open spaces. My size and energy level mean that apartment or condo living isn’t right for me. A family that’s home most of the time would also be a big plus.
I love to move around and explore the world! 🌲 Long walks, hikes, and enrichment plays will help me burn off my energy and keep my mind active. I’ll also need appropriate chew toys.
My little challenge? I’m still learning to keep all four paws on the ground and walk calmly on a leash. New environments can also make me a bit unsure. A dog training professional can guide my family through this learning process using positive reinforcement methods. A harness is highly recommended for our walks.
