Hi there, I’m Alasia! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I’m a beautiful Husky mix. I’m a very sensitive dog who loves being around people. I wag my tail as soon as someone speaks to me, and I really love cuddling up to receive cuddles. However, I need some time to feel comfortable in a new environment.

I will be a good candidate for a first-time adoption, as long as my family is willing to respect my pace and guide me gently! I’m nervous, so I’m better suited to teenagers or adults, since sudden movements and unpredictable situations can be difficult for me.

I haven’t been tested with cats yet. I also haven’t been tested directly with dogs, but I’m curious about calm dogs I see, and I might be able to learn to get along with them gradually.

I’m looking for a quiet home with regular human interaction and, ideally, a fenced-in yard. Living in an apartment or condo isn’t recommended, since I might be vocal. At first, walks might be difficult for me: I need to feel safe before I can fully enjoy my outings.

To help me adjust, plays that involve puzzles and activities that let me earn my food will be invaluable. I also enjoy chewing 🦴 and quiet little plays indoors or in the yard.

Learning to feel comfortable in new environments and with sudden noises will be my main little challenge. With patience, a reassuring routine, and the right support, I’ll gradually gain confidence.
