Hi, my name is Cassandre! 🐾💜

I’m an adorable 3-year-old dog looking for an active family that will appreciate my unique personality.

I’m an energetic companion who loves exploring the world through my incredible sense of smell. Curious by nature, I enjoy following scents, discovering new places, and setting off on adventures whenever I get the chance. 💛

I’m looking for a family that is present most of the time and ideally familiar with Hound-type dogs, or willing to learn about the needs of a dog like me. Long periods alone are not recommended, as I can be quite vocal and enjoy being part of family life.

I could potentially live with another dog, but a meet-and-greet will be required first. At the shelter, I showed very little interest in other dogs. Living with a dog of the opposite sex is generally recommended. My compatibility with cats has not been tested.

I need an environment that allows me to stay active and explore. A home with a large, securely fenced yard is strongly recommended so I can safely enjoy the outdoors. Apartments and condos are not suitable for my needs. 🌿

Long walks and hiking adventures are some of my favorite activities! I also enjoy games that challenge my nose and my mind, especially when they involve searching for treats or solving fun puzzles. 🐕🦴

One of my little challenges is that my enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of me. I may jump up when excited, pull on the leash, and become distracted by all the fascinating scents around me. The good news is that I learn quickly and am usually easy to redirect.
