Hi there, I’m Popcorn! 🐾

I was found as a stray and I’m a terrier mix.

I’m an energetic, playful, and sociable dog! I love to run, play fetch, and do activities with my humans. Food really motivates me, which will be a great asset as we learn new things together.

I’m looking for a family with experience with dogs that need behavioral support, who are willing to help me continue learning with patience and consistency. Children aged 13 and older are preferred, as my enthusiasm and reactions when I’m stressed require a calm and thoughtful approach.

I really enjoy the company of other dogs and would truly benefit from having a canine companion in my new home. A preliminary meeting will be necessary to assess their compatibility. As for cats, it’s still unknown—I haven’t been tested living with them yet.

I’m looking for a calm and predictable home, with minimal comings and goings and sudden noises, where I can build trust at my own pace. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus, and I’d like to have a family that’s around most of the time.

🎾 Long walks, hikes, ball plays, and dog sports would bring me great happiness! I also need challenges to stimulate my mind and appropriate things to chew on.

My little challenge will be learning to better manage my excitement, approach new experiences with more confidence, and respect my humans’ personal space when it comes to food. Positive-reinforcement dog training will be important to help me make progress.
