Tartelette

Hi there, I’m Tartelette! 🐾

I’m a young dog who’s full of energy, curious, and always ready to learn. My mixed-breed background isn’t known, but I’m a little ball of energy who’ll need a family willing to support me through every stage of my development.

I’m preferably looking for a family that already has experience with puppies and understands that I still have a lot to learn. I can be very enthusiastic and tend to jump, nip, and bump into things; close supervision and safety measures like gates will be important around young children.

I get along well with other dogs. A gradual introduction, with breaks and separation as needed, will be important. Over time, I may become more selective around certain dogs. I haven’t yet been tested with cats or other animals, so introductions will need to be very gradual and always safe.

A fenced yard would be ideal, as would access to large open spaces to run around. I’m looking for a family that’s regularly home—especially at first—and can devote time each day to my training. 🐶

I love walks, hikes, playing indoors or in the yard, and—depending on my interests as I grow up—I might even become a running partner or take part in certain dog sports! 🌲🎾 I also need plenty of mental stimulation and chew toys to channel my energy.

My little challenge? I still need to learn to walk well on a leash, keep all four paws on the ground, and make good choices when I’m excited. Barking, nipping, and little “zoomies” are also part of my learning process. Dog training classes will be good investment to help me become a well-balanced dog.

I’m a little companion full of potential, but I’m looking for a family ready to invest in my training and to guide me with consistency and kindness. If you’re ready for the adventure of a puppy’s early years, I can’t wait to grow up with you! 💛
