Hi there, I’m Pépito! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I might be a mix of a mastiff, terrier, or shepherd. I’m a young, energetic dog—curious and very engaged with everything going on around me. I really love human interaction, and I always have something to say!

I’m looking for a family that already has experience with young, energetic dogs and is willing to invest in my training. Children over 12 are recommended, as my enthusiasm can be overwhelming and I might accidentally bump into them when I’m excited.

I haven’t been tested with other dogs yet, but I might be able to get along with them if introduced gradually and properly. I haven’t been tested for getting along with cats.

I’d be much more comfortable in a house with a fenced-in yard or easy access to open spaces. Apartment or condo living isn’t right for me, since I can be very vocal, especially when I’m alone. So I’m looking for a family that’s home most of the time and can provide me with a stable routine.

I have lots of energy to burn! 🌲🏃 I’d love to go on long walks, hikes, and trips to the park with my family. Play toys, enrichment activities, and chew toys are also important to help me burn off my energy.

My little challenge? I still have a lot to learn: I jump, pull on the leash, and can bark loudly when I’m alone. With consistent training, patience, and age-appropriate activities, I’ll be able to make progress.
