Hi there, I’m Leodes! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I’m a mix of German Shepherd, Husky, and maybe Labrador. I’m a big, sociable, energetic, and very affectionate guy. Even though new environments can make me nervous at first, I warm up with time, patience, and a few tasty treats.

I’m looking for a family that’s already familiar with energetic dogs and comfortable with dog training. I’ll need someone home regularly to help me adjust, and people who are willing to help me learn good manners. I’m recommended for homes with adults or teenagers only, as my energy and enthusiasm can be hard for young children to handle.

I haven’t been tested with other dogs yet, but I’m interested in meeting some calm dogs! A gradual introduction will be necessary. Living with cats is not recommended.

A house with a large, fenced-in yard and access to open spaces would be ideal for me. An apartment or condo wouldn’t be a good fit, especially since I can be vocal when I’m excited. I’ll also need regular attention and an environment that lets me settle in at my own pace.

I’m an active dog who loves to explore! Frequent walks, outdoor activities, brain-teasing plays, and dog sports would really appeal to me. 🏃🌲 I’m also highly motivated by treats and will learn best with a positive approach.

I still need training, especially in jumping, walking on a leash, and basic commands. It’s a bit of a challenge, but I’m able to calm down and bond with my humans once I feel confident.
