The SPCA de l’Outaouais is proud to partner with PROJET452, an initiative led by Justin Bois, which aims to raise $100,000 to modernize the dog kennels at our shelter.

On September 5, Justin will take on an extraordinary athletic challenge: completing a solo Double Ironman, for a total of 452 kilometers in less than 36 hours.

His challenge will include:
🌊 7.6 km of swimming
🚴 360 km of cycling
🏃 84.4 km of running

Behind this physical feat lies a very concrete mission: to help improve the facilities that welcome hundreds of dogs in need each year.

Facilities in need of modernization to better meet the dogs’ needs

Like many shelters, the SPCA de l’Outaouais takes in animals every day that require care, support, and an environment suited to their needs. As needs evolve and pressure on shelter services increases, certain facilities now require modernization.

Modernizing the kennels will allow us to provide spaces better suited to the dogs’ needs, enhance their comfort during their stay at the shelter, and support our team’s daily work.

A Collective Challenge for a Vital Cause

PROJET452 invites businesses and citizens to join the movement.

Businesses can participate through various partnership packages, based on a financial commitment per kilometer covered during the challenge. Individuals who wish to contribute can also make a one-time donation to support the mission.

Every contribution will bring the SPCA closer to its goal: raising $100,000 to modernize the dog kennels.
