Feral (or unsociable) cats cannot be taken in by the shelter as part of a regular intake, as they are not suited to life in captivity or cohabitation with humans. Their stay in the shelter would be extremely stressful and would not contribute to their well-being.

The CSR program is the best solution for these cats, as it allows them to live freely in their environment, while being spayed or neutered, healthier, and unable to reproduce. This approach promotes harmonious cohabitation between the community and stray cats, while controlling the feline population in an ethical and sustainable manner.

Please also refrain from feeding these cats, even with good intentions. Feeding them can make them dependent on a human food source, reduce their chances of returning to their natural habitat or home, encourage the formation of unwanted colonies, and increase the risk of spreading disease. For their well-being and that of the community, please avoid feeding them.
