Hi, I’m Wednesday… but my friends call me Wendy! 💕

I’m a big, beautiful dog with a tender heart, found wandering in the countryside. I’m strong and protective, probably a mix of bulldog and guard dog—a real reassuring presence for those I love! Despite my imposing appearance, I am an affectionate, social, and lively dog, always ready for a walk or a play session in the yard.

I am looking for an experienced family, ideally one that is used to large breeds or guard dogs. I need confident, consistent, and caring people who will guide me in my learning. I could live with children aged 12 and up, as long as they are respectful and understand canine language.

I generally get along well with other dogs—especially those of the opposite sex! It will just be necessary to introduce us gradually and in a supervised manner. I have not yet been tested with cats.

My ideal future home? A house in the country or with a large fenced yard, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I love space, outdoor walks, and quiet moments with my family. I am an active dog who enjoys moving, chewing, thinking, and participating in everyday life. A little daily training, enrichment games, and learning sessions will make me happy and fulfilled!
I pull a little on the leash and need some time to adjust to new environments—I can be slightly wary at first. But with gentleness, games, and positive reinforcement, I quickly open up and show my joyful and affectionate side.

I am up for adoption because I am currently being treated for an ear infection (re-evaluation scheduled in a week) and I have a little tartar on my teeth—nothing that a good veterinary maintenance plan can’t fix!
