Hi there, I’m Tournesol! 🌻

I was found as a stray, and I’m a small female dog of the Cocker Spaniel type.

I’m a sensitive and observant dog who can get nervous in new environments, but I love gentle moments once I feel comfortable. I especially love cuddling up to you for cuddles when I feel safe.

I’m looking for a family with experience with fearful dogs, capable of respecting my pace and helping me gain confidence gradually. I’d be more comfortable in a home with teenagers or adults, as sudden movements can make me anxious.

I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals, so careful introductions will be necessary if needed.

A quiet environment will be essential for me. Noisy or very busy places easily make me anxious. I’ll need a stable home with minimal comings and goings, as well as access to an outdoor space to get some fresh air. Having my humans around reassures me a lot and helps me feel safe.

I love leisurely walks, observing what’s going on around me, and enjoying quiet moments with you 🐕‍🦺🌿. Simple plays and predictable routines also help me relax.

My little challenge will be learning to feel more comfortable in different situations and to walk calmly without pulling when something catches my attention. With patience and gentleness, I’ll be able to progress at my own pace.

I also have generalized tartar buildup, and dental check-ups with your vet will be recommended to take care of my health.
