Hi there, I’m Oreo! 🐾

I was surrendered to the shelter, and I think I’m a cute mix of bulldog and mastiff. I’m an energetic dog who loves human company and is always up for spending time with my humans. Food is also a great motivator for me!

I’m looking for a family that ideally already has experience with dogs and is willing to invest in my training. Teenagers and adults would be my best companions, since I tend to jump when I get very excited.

When it comes to living with other dogs, gradual and well-guided introductions will be important. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals, so a very gradual introduction would be necessary.

I’d be happiest in a house with a fenced yard, ideally with enough space to move around and enjoy my daily life. An apartment or condo wouldn’t be recommended for me, since I can be vocal. I’d also like a family that’s present and available, as I really enjoy human company.

I need an active and varied daily routine! 🐕🌲 Long walks, hikes, chew toys, and activities that keep me mentally engaged will be great ways to keep me occupied and channel my energy.

My little challenge will be to continue my training, especially to learn to walk more calmly on a leash and better manage my excitement when I’m happy to see someone. With consistency, fun activities, and a dedicated family, I’ll be able to make great progress!
