I’m a working dog, a retriever type, and super sociable with humans! I love getting attention and cuddles, I’m a real bundle of love! 😍 But beware, I’m also a dog full of energy! Outside, I need to be given opportunities to exert myself every day, otherwise I might get bored. Fortunately, indoors, I’m much calmer and quieter. 🛋️

I am so happy to see people that I jump on them out of love, so it would be better if I were in a family without young children or a family that can help me manage my jumping with fences or barriers. I haven’t learned certain things yet, like walking on a leash, so I’m going to need a family willing to devote some time to teaching me about life in the city or in the country! 🐾

I arrived at the shelter with my dog friend, and I seem to get along well with the other dogs, especially the males. If you already have a dog, you will probably need to do some gradual introductions to see how we get along. As for cats, I haven’t met any yet, but being a retriever, it’s possible that I’ll be curious and try to chase them to play! 🐕💨

My former family had to surrender me to the shelter for personal reasons, and now I dream of finding a warm home where I can spend my days surrounded by love. Due to my age, I am up for Humanitarian adoption – but don’t be fooled by my years! I still have so much love to give and I will be the perfect companion for a sweet and caring family. 💕
