Hi there, I’m Jack! 🐶

I was found as a stray and am probably a herding mix.

I’m a sociable, curious dog who’s always eager to explore my surroundings. I love learning, interacting with people, and using my brain. Good news: I already know several basic commands and am very food-motivated, which makes training even more fun!

I’d be a good fit for a family adopting their first dog, but also for people who are familiar with herding-type dogs and their needs. Since I can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable in certain situations, I’d be more at ease in a home with school-aged children or older, who can respect my pace and my space.

I get along well with other dogs and love meeting them. Introductions just need to be done calmly. However, living with cats is not recommended for me.

A home with a fenced yard and plenty of space to move around would be ideal. I love to burn off energy, explore, and join my family in their activities. Active families who enjoy spending time outdoors with their dog could be a great match for me.

Long walks, hikes, and activities that stimulate my mind are perfect for me 🌲🏃. I love learning new things and sharing active moments with my humans.

Like all dogs, I also have a few small challenges to work on. I can sometimes get very focused when I see other dogs, and I still need practice staying relaxed on a leash in certain situations. With consistency and positive guidance, I’ll definitely keep making progress.

I’m a smart, lovable dog with lots of potential. If you’re looking for a curious, active companion who’s ready to learn with you, I might just be your perfect partner for years to come! 🏡💕
