Gâteau

Hi there, I’m Gâteau! 🐾

I was found as a stray and I’m a large mixed-breed dog—my exact mix is unknown.

I’m a sociable, affectionate boy who loves people. I enjoy being petted, getting attention, and spending time with my family. I walk well on a leash and already know a few commands, like “sit” and “shake.”

I’d be a good fit for a first-time adopter as well as a family that already has experience with dogs. I get along with children of all ages, which means I’d be a good match for many different types of homes.

I haven’t yet been tested with other dogs or cats. If you already have a dog, a preliminary meeting will be necessary to see if we’re a good match. Living with a dog of the opposite sex is preferred.

I’d like access to a fenced yard, ideally in a house in the countryside or near open spaces. I’m a dog who enjoys human companionship, going out, and a routine that helps me feel comfortable in my surroundings.

I need to share fun activities with my family! Long walks, hikes, and dog sports could really appeal to me. 🌲🎾 I’ll also appreciate plays that challenge my sense of smell and my mind, as well as good things to chew on.

New environments can sometimes make me a little nervous, but it’s nothing serious. If you give me time to get my bearings, I’ll be able to adapt gradually.
