Hi, I’m Fiona! 🐾

I was found as a stray and am probably a mix of shepherd and primitive dog.

I am a sensitive dog who observes a lot before feeling confident. When given time to adjust, I become gentle, calm, and really enjoy the company of humans and being petted.

I would be a good fit for a family who is getting a dog for the first time, as long as they are willing to be patient and kind with me as I continue to gain confidence. I need people who understand shy dogs and will respect my pace. When it comes to children, I would be more comfortable with teenagers aged 12 and up, as unpredictable environments and rapid movements can make me anxious.

I could possibly live with another dog, but this has not yet been tested. Cats and small animals are not recommended for me.

I would feel better in a house with a fenced yard and, ideally, near wide open spaces where I can breathe and explore peacefully. A peaceful environment, without too much noise or comings and goings, helps me relax enormously. Life in the countryside or in a quiet place would be perfect for me.

I enjoy long walks, exploring nature, and quiet moments with my family. Chewing and discovering new places also help me feel comfortable in my own skin.

I still have a few things to learn, such as walking calmly on a leash and managing my enthusiasm when I meet people. With consistency and appropriate activities, I can continue to make progress.

Since my arrival, I have already come a long way and am discovering that humans can be reassuring. With a patient and attentive family, I can become a loyal and loving companion for life 🏡✨
