Hi there, I’m Ema! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I’m a Husky mix. I’m an independent, curious, and very energetic dog, but I also enjoy quieter moments with people—especially some cuddles indoors!

I’m looking for a family with experience with high-energy dogs and some behavioral challenges to work on. An adult-only household is strongly recommended, since my independent nature, high activity needs, and enthusiasm require time and guidance. I’m not compatible with young children.

I haven’t been tested with other dogs yet, but I seem interested in their presence, so a preliminary meeting will be necessary. I’m not compatible with cats, as my chasing instinct is very strong.

A home with a fenced yard is highly recommended. Be warned, though: I’m a master at running away and can jump over fences! So when I’m outside, I must be on a leash at all times. A very involved and active family would be ideal to help me adjust well.

I need plenty of exercise and to be part of my family’s life! 🌲🏃 Long walks, hikes, foraging activities, and dog sports like canicross would be right up my alley. Enrichment plays, chewing toys, and activities that challenge my mind are also important to me.

My little challenge? I pull a lot on the leash and still need to learn to stay focused on my human when I’m outside. With consistent guidance and a properly fitted harness, I’ll be able to make progress.
