Hi, I’m Choco! 🐶

My former family had to surrender me to the shelter for personal reasons, and here we are still getting to know each other a little more every day.

I am a friendly dog who enjoys the company of humans. I like to visit people, share quiet moments, and discover my surroundings at my own pace. Even though I am still adjusting, I already show a beautiful, gentle, and endearing temperament. 💛

I would be a good fit for a family ready to offer me stability and kindness. Patient humans who are open to accompanying me in my development and attentive to my needs will be important to me. If there are children in the family, it would be preferable that they are old enough to understand that I need to move calmly and respect my pace.

I am up for humanitarian adoption, as an examination strongly suggests that I may have hip dysplasia. An X-ray at your veterinarian’s office will be recommended to confirm this, as well as follow-ups as needed. With good medical guidance and appropriate management of my activities, many dogs in my situation can still enjoy a good quality of life.

A peaceful living environment, without too many stairs and with non-slip surfaces, could help me stay comfortable. I would enjoy moderate walks, appropriate playtime, and above all, lots of affection 🐾🌿.
