Hi there, I’m Cascade! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I’m probably a Husky mix. I’m a sensitive young female dog who takes time to observe my surroundings before trusting others. Once I feel safe, I reveal a gentle, affectionate, and endearing side.

I’d love to find a family with experience with Husky-type dogs—one that’s willing to understand my temperament and support me with patience. A home with teenagers or adults would be ideal, since I adapt best to a calm environment where I can get my bearings at my own pace!

I haven’t been tested with cats, and living with them isn’t recommended. When it comes to other dogs, a preliminary meeting will be important. I might get along well with a calm companion, ideally of the opposite sex.

Apartment living wouldn’t suit me, since Huskies can be quite vocal. A house with a fenced-in yard or access to wide-open spaces will allow me to truly thrive. I love exploring with my nose, going for walks, taking long hikes, and tackling little challenges that stimulate both my body and my mind. 🌲🦴 Scratches behind my ears and gentle moments are also among my little sources of happiness.

My little challenge? When I’m in a new environment or surrounded by a lot of noise, I can get nervous. I sometimes pull on the leash and jump when my emotions get the best of me, but with positive reinforcement, consistency, and time, I’ll gain confidence. I already know “sit” in English, so I have a great foundation to keep learning!
