Hi there, I’m Blue! 🐶

I was found as a stray and I’m probably a Husky-Terrier mix. I’m a big, sociable guy—curious and always ready for an adventure. I love people, sniffing out absolutely everything in my path, and enjoying the great outdoors whenever I get the chance.

I’m looking for an active family that has previously owned a big, energetic dog like me. Given my strength and enthusiasm, I’d be more comfortable in a home with teenagers or older children. I’d also need to be the only pet in the house, since living with other dogs isn’t a good fit for me. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals.

Apartment living wouldn’t suit me at all. I need space to move around, explore, and burn off my energy—ideally with a large fenced yard or a rural setting 🌲. I’m a dog who loves a variety of daily activities and people willing to invest time in my training.

Long walks, hikes, outdoor plays, and times when I can run freely in a safe space are exactly what I need 🎾. I also really enjoy sniffing around and exploring my surroundings at my own pace. I already know “sit” and take treats gently.

Like many energetic young dogs, I have a few small challenges to work on. I can pull hard on the leash, jump when I’m happy, and sometimes chew on my leash when I have too much pent-up energy. With consistency and good habits, I’ll be able to keep making progress.
