Hi, I’m Asper! 🐶

I’m a big, lovable boy who was found wandering, and since my arrival, I’ve already won over many hearts with my expressive face and super affectionate nature. 💛 I’m a real clingy one: I love cuddles, scratches, and human contact. If you’re looking for a devoted and affectionate dog, you’ll fall head over heels for me!

I may have a little boxer in my mix, which may explain my joyful energy and love of play. I still need to learn some good manners, as I can jump or nibble a little when I want attention. Nothing unusual for a dog like me—a little consistency, kindness, and positive training, and I’ll become an exemplary companion!

I would be happy in an active and often present family, with a fenced yard and plenty of time for walks, hikes, and chew toys. 🦴 Since I have a well-developed prey drive, I couldn’t live with cats or small animals, but I might get along with another calm dog of the opposite sex, with careful introductions. I would be better off in a home without young children.

I have not shown any signs of aggression, but I can be a little fearful of strangers at first—I just need a little time to relax and come looking for pets myself.
