Hi there, I’m Arthur! 🐶

I was brought to the shelter and I’m a proud Beagle mix.

I’m a curious dog, guided by my nose and always on the lookout for new scents to explore. I might seem a little independent at first, especially in a new environment, but I still have great potential to bond with my future family.

I’m looking for a family that ideally has experience with dogs driven by their tracking instincts, capable of providing me with consistent and patient guidance. I can live with children of all ages, provided we meet beforehand to ensure everyone is comfortable.

I get along well with other dogs, especially with a proper introduction. As for cats and small animals, this isn’t recommended, since I tend to want to chase them.

I’ll need a home with a well-fenced yard, since my desire to explore can easily lead me off on an adventure. Apartment living isn’t right for me, especially because of my loud, proud Beagle bark! An environment where I’m not left alone for too long will be important to me.

I love going for walks to follow scents, explore my surroundings, and move at my own pace 🌲🐾. Activities that stimulate my sense of smell and engaging plays will be perfect for me.

I have a few small challenges to work on, like learning to walk more calmly on a leash and channeling my constant desire to discover my surroundings.
