Hi there, I’m Layla! 🐶

I was surrendered to the shelter after a move, and I’m a bulldog/mastiff mix.

I’m a sociable, affectionate, and lively dog! I love cuddles, treats, and meeting new people. With my still very puppy-like nature, I have lots of enthusiasm to share and I easily seek out interaction with people.

I could be a good fit for a first-time adoption, as long as my family is ready to help me with my training. I’m looking for a home without children 12 years old or younger, since I jump a lot and might accidentally bump into younger kids.

I’m used to being around other dogs and can also live with cats. A preliminary meet-and-greet will be necessary if you already have another dog, to make sure we’re a good match.

I dream of a family that’s around most of the time and loves to include me in their activities. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus so I can play safely, and I might really enjoy country life!

🌿 Long walks, hikes, and enrichment plays will let me burn off my energy while sharing wonderful moments with you. I also love activities that challenge my mind and appropriate chew toys.

My little challenge? Learning to keep all four paws on the ground when I’m happy, walking more calmly on a leash, and becoming house-trained in my new home. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I’ll be able to keep learning.
