Hi, I’m Whiskey! 🐾 Right now, I find shelter life very stressful, and I would really benefit from finding a calmer and more reassuring environment.
I can seem very overwhelmed by my surroundings and tend to stay completely still, almost like a little rock. 🥺 But behind my big eyes and reserved nature, there is not a mean bone in my body: I simply need people to take their time with me and let me move forward at my own pace.
My former family had to surrender me to the shelter for personal reasons. I’m now looking for a gentle and patient family who will understand that I may need some time to adjust and find my footing again. With a stable environment and plenty of kindness, I hope to gradually let my personality shine through. 💕
I’m available through our humanitarian adoption program with no adoption fee due to my age. If you would like to give a cat who simply needs calm, patience and a place to finally feel safe a wonderful second chance, I hope you’ll come meet me.
