Hi there, I’m Minnie! 🐾

I was brought to the shelter, and I’m probably a herding mix. If you love smart, active dogs who are always ready for an adventure, we might just be a perfect match!

I’m a sociable, affectionate dog who’s a joy to be around. I love human company, and people describe me as a real gem. I also grew up surrounded by several other dogs, which helped me develop great social skills.

I might be a good fit for a first-time dog-owning family, though familiarity with herding dogs—such as Border Collies or Australian Shepherds—would be a definite plus. Given my energy and enthusiasm, I’d be more comfortable with school-aged children or older to avoid any accidental scuffles.

I get along well with other dogs, and gradual introductions are recommended to ensure a smooth transition. I haven’t yet been tested for compatibility with cats or other animals.

I’d need a home with a fenced yard or access to open spaces to fully enjoy life. Apartment living wouldn’t be ideal for me, since I can be vocal when something catches my attention.

I love exploring, going for walks, discovering forest trails, and sharing activities with my family. 🌲🐕 Shepherd-type dogs love to keep both their bodies and minds active, and I’m no exception!

My little challenge? Like many shepherd dogs, I might need a little guidance to refine my leash manners and continue my basic training. Only a dedicated family can help me improve.
