All our cats are sterilized, microchipped, and have received the first dose of vaccine and antiparasitic.
Hi, I’m René-Georges! 🐾
I’m a gentle but quite active cat who needs plenty of daily stimulation. I love moving, exploring, and staying busy—otherwise I can get bored quickly 💛
One of the reasons I was surrendered is my strong desire to go outside. I would do well in a home with a catio or with humans willing to provide supervised leash walks outdoors 🏡
I can be affectionate, but it’s very important to respect my boundaries and read my body language. I don’t always enjoy prolonged handling, I may give gentle bites if my belly is petted, and I might hiss if startled 🐱
I’m a good cat despite my quirks, but for everyone’s comfort I would do best in a home without young children 💛
I’m available through our humanitarian adoption program due to idiopathic hematuria (blood in the urine with no identified cause). My urine tests are currently normal and I am using my litter box properly at the shelter 🩺
I will need monitoring of my urinary habits, good hydration support, multiple water sources, and appropriate litter box management in my future home. Veterinary follow-up will be important, and it may be beneficial to discuss a preventive urinary diet with your vet 💧
With me, you’ll gain a lively, unique, and affectionate companion who simply needs the right environment to truly thrive 💕
*“Humanitarian adoption” means that the animal has special health or behavioral needs. Through August 31, the adoption fee is waived for these cats to help them find a family. In such cases, the 10-day health guarantee offered by the SPCAO does not apply.
