Hi there, I’m Mochi! 🐶
I was found wandering around, and I’m probably a mix of Chihuahua and Pug. I’m a sensitive and curious little dog who loves to approach people, even though I sometimes need a little time to feel comfortable and confident 💛
I’d be a good fit for a first-time family—gentle and patient—who’s ready to help me learn. I’d feel more comfortable with teens or older kids, since I can get nervous and easily startled by sudden movements. I get along well with other calm dogs, but I need time to approach them at my own pace.
I need a stable, reassuring environment where I can find my bearings without too much pressure. Long absences might be harder for me, so I’ll be more at ease with people who are present and gently integrate me into their daily lives. I love exploring outside, sniffing around, and enjoying my peaceful walks 🌿
I’m a little food-loving explorer who’s still learning to gain confidence. With gentleness, consistency, and positive experiences, I’ll be able to keep growing and become even more comfortable in my world.
I’m up for humanitarian adoption because a suspected eye condition will require specialized follow-up with an ophthalmologist. A dental care plan is also recommended to ensure my comfort. Despite all this, I’m still a loving and endearing little companion, ready to find a family that will accept me with kindness and a warm heart 🏡✨
*“Humanitarian adoption” means that the animal has special health or behavioral needs. In such cases, the 10-day health guarantee offered by the SPCAO does not apply.
