Hi there, I’m Bailey! 🐾

I was found as a stray, and I’m probably a Doberman-Pitbull mix.

I’m a curious, independent dog who’s very interested in my surroundings. I love to explore, sniff around, and discover what’s around me—sometimes to the point where I forget about the human on the other end of the leash!

I’d be a good fit for a motivated first-time family, ideally one comfortable with active dogs that need guidance. I could live with school-aged children, since they’re generally better at respecting my space and my pace.

I can get along with other dogs who have energy similar to mine, especially if we take the time to make a proper introduction. I’m also used to living with cats and even small pets, which is a nice bonus.

I would need a home with a fenced yard so I can move around freely and satisfy my curiosity. Apartment living isn’t right for me, as I can be vocal and need space to thrive. Having someone home regularly will also help me adjust better to my new routine.

I love playing, chewing, and moments when I can explore at my own pace 🦴🌿. Activities that let me use my nose and keep me busy are ideal for me.

My little challenge? I can pull on the leash and get very focused on my surroundings, especially when I see other dogs I’d like to go meet. With consistency and good guidance, I’ll be able to learn how to channel all that energy better.

I’m up for humanitarian adoption because I’ll need dental care, including treatment for one of my teeth.

I’m a dog full of potential who will thrive on bonding with my new family. With a little patience, I’ll become a loyal and well-adjusted companion 🏡💕
