Hi, my name is Balou! 🐾

I am a big teenager full of energy, curiosity, and love to give! My family had to bring me to the shelter because they were moving, and now I am ready to find a new home where I can continue to thrive. 💙

I am a playful, affectionate, and very social dog. I love to move, explore, play, and spend time with my humans! An active family who enjoys long walks, outdoor games, and is willing to invest time in my training would be perfect for me. I would be suitable for a home with children over 12 years old! 🦴

Since I am young and still learning, I will need a little structure and patience. A family with experience with dogs would be ideal for me! I pull a little on the leash, I can jump when I’m excited, and I still need to work on my house training, but with gentle methods and lots of mental and physical stimulation, I’ll make quick progress! A home with a fenced yard and, ideally, another dog would make me really happy. 🐶

I’m not cut out for apartment living; I need space, company, and people who understand that a big teenage dog needs to expend energy and feel understood. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful companion who’s overflowing with love, I’m ready to meet you! ✨
